Please ask, I've helped clients with most things it's possible to suffer with and "there is no charge for asking!" - it's confidential. Most problems can be sorted out fairly quickly - expect the bulk of the problem to be vastly reduced in less than 6 sessions at J50 per session. EMDR for traumatic events (as recommended by NICE - National Institute for Clinical Excellence).

Services
I grew up in the North West of England between Manchester and Liverpool and went to school and college in Wigan and Warrington.
I have always been fascinated by people and even then I knew I wanted to do something that would help people.
My working life has included teaching maths in Warrington, Leigh and Liverpool, working in an IT role and as an IT customer support officer.
About 20 years ago I went by chance to a talk on hypnotherapy and I was hooked.
I started my training as a hypnotherapist and psychotherapist and have been expanding my knowledge ever since.

I can also also help you with: Drug and alcohol addiction, weight issues, children's problems, sexual & relationship difficulties, pain management, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), bladder & bowel problems, PTSD, public speaking & presentations, sleep problems, gambling addiction and any other addiction and many, many more things besides.
Please ask - most things can be resolved in a straightforward manner - unfortunately most people think that they are too complicated, too far gone and therefore it is too late for them, or they are too frightened to ask for help, or too ashamed, guilty, embarassed or think that they deserve it as punishment or it's in their nature to have the problem because someone in their family else had the problem: "my mum was terrified of spiders and I got it from her" or "I've got my dad's love of drink" or "we are all big eaters in our house!"

You can choose between lots of different kinds of talking therapy, some take longer than others eg some people might think that they need to see a therapist for years.
My experience is that this is totally unnecessary and counter-productive to the client's sense of well-being and confidence.
I work as a brief therapist.
You can choose how few or how many sessions you have.
Neither is it important to hit cushions or weep and wail dramatically - although clients do get upset, it is always in a constructive sense, letting go of the problem that has plagued them for years.

I'm in North Warrington, in the North-West of England between Manchester and Liverpool.
There are a number of techniques that are possible to do over the phone - I have helped clients with IBS, bladder & bowel problems, panic-attacks, stress and depression as well as anger and fear issues.
You can also buy a CD or MP3 download -from the Shop Section - I recommend the "Being Calm" recording as suitable for most anxieties and lack of sleep.
Are you qualified?
Yes, I've spent many years training and going through various hoops to become a registered psychotherapist with UKCP - in order to remain as a member of that organisation I have to fulfil criteria regarding supervision, extra training (CPD) and insurance.
