Sue Nicholls Counselling
Deciding to come for counselling can be a huge step for some people and there are many different reasons why people take that step. Perhaps life has become really difficult and you would just like someone to listen to you without judgement or trying to tell you what you should do. Perhaps you are trying to deal with bereavement, loss or a problem which has arisen and you are unsure which way to turn.

Everyone is unique and will bring something different to each session and I will work with you on whatever that issue may be, I will focus on your needs and work at a pace which suits you.
Services
A safe and confidential space to talk about whatever is bothering you.
Someone who will listen to you tell it exactly how it is for you, without you having to tone things down or be afraid of upsetting someone.
Counselling provides the opportunity to explore your concerns in a way you cannot do with perhaps family or friends.
I like to create a sense of calm and safety within the counselling room to give you the ability to focus on whatever you need to work on.
I may also challenge the way you look at things and encourage you to see things in a different way.
I began my journey with counselling after undergoing my own transformation with personal therapy.
Starting to recognise that looking after myself was important allowed me to realise that I could enable others to do the same.
I am an integrative counsellor, which means that I work in a variety of ways to suit each individual person.
I worked as a voluntary counsellor for Cruse Bereavement for three years and this involved seeing clients who have experienced loss and bereavement in some way.
Every person experiences grief in an individual way and I have gained a wealth of understanding from my work with these clients.
