
I believe wholeheartedly in the process of counselling as a means of understanding how your experiences can impact on your present situation, thoughts and feelings. I also believe that having a safe, confidential space in which you can offload and be met with empathy can make an enormous difference to your life especially when things feel overwhelming.
I work collaboratively with my clients to increase their self-awareness which empowers them and gives them more choice about how they move forward with their lives. I am trained as a humanistic integrative counsellor which means that I have knowledge of several counselling approaches including Person-Centred, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
This allows me to work with my clients in a way which best suits their individual needs drawing on a range of theory, tools and techniques. Following this first point of contact I will arrange an initial consultation with you either face to face or via a phone call which will give us an opportunity to discuss your needs and for you to ask me any questions.
