Currently I am afraid I have no sessions available, this will probabaly be the situation until mid Novemeber. My current waiting list is approxmatley 12 weeks, though of course this situation as with life can change. Hello, my name is Trish. I am an experienced and professionally qualified therapeutic counsellor working in private practice within the King's Lynn - West Norfolk area.

I truly believe one of the most important questions you can ask another is not what's wrong, but what has happened to them? Often that's where our struggles begin.
Services
Life can feel troublesome and challenging as we try to navigate our way through our concerns, problems or worries.
A conversation where you feel validated can help you feel less burdened and less alone.
Eventually, our conversations together may create the space to consider circumstances and situations in other ways.
Helping empower you to respond and think differently.
It can be helpful to think of counselling or therapy as layers.
Sometimes it feels enough to explore the just the top layer of ourselves or, we may be curious to go a little deeper.
I began professional counselling training in 2005, taking the counselling diploma route successfully gaining my professional counselling diploma in 2008.
My professional and personal development continues ensuring I maintain my responsibility to my clients and myself.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
My counselling experience includes helping people with depression, anxiety, generalised anxiety, anger, grief loss and bereavement, low self-confidence, relationships and breakdowns, sexual, emotional and physical abuse along with other difficulties that affect our health and wellbeing.
Usually, we begin by arranging an initial meeting this will enable us both to decide whether we would like to work together.
It is essential to find a counsellor you feel comfortable with and can connect with this will give your counselling the best start.
During our first meeting, I will invite you to share what has been happening in your life, what is on your mind, what is bothering you.
I offer a kind, confidential conversation.
I will not criticise, interrupt, or judge as you share a little about your story and experiences.
To ensure I follow the guidance from NHS, Government and Public Health England.
I will still be providing counselling, but for the time being, sessions will be offered remotely.
Any virtual platform used will have end to end encryption facetime, what's app skype or zoom.
Virtual or telephone counselling may feel like a different experience, but this temporary adjustment ensures support and connection continues.
Please contact me directly to discuss fees, we are all living in challenging times, and I appreciate the need to manage financial realities.
We are finding ourselves in uncertain times sometimes just knowing where we can go to ask for help can be so reassuring.
Helplines, crisis lines, and suicide hotlines allow you to communicate in your way and in your time.
They help you to take charge and offer a channel that can free you to discuss matters that you might find too risky to share face to face.
If you find your self in a challenging emotional situation and need to speak to a trained counsellor, calling a helpline, crisis line, and or a suicide hotline offers a great way to be heard and get sound advice.
