Whether you have a mental health diagnosis like depression or anxiety, or have hit a difficult phase in your life, e.g. because of a past trauma, relationship difficulties, job stress or loss, or feel you are simply juggling too many responsibilities, research has shown that a therapeutic relationship with a counsellor in the right environment can make a big difference!
Our brains have a unique property called plasticity, and because of this an intense new experience such as personal counselling can actually change the way we think, feel and behave.Talking to a counsellor, who is non-judgmental and unbiased can help you to deal with difficult feelings and find a way forward.
All-Of-You offers an affordable counselling service, which is Integrative in nature, bringing in especially Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)/Tapping and Humanistic models of counselling tailored to the individual needs of each client.

I was born in the U.K. and moved to India as a child.
I spent many years in this beautiful country, and this experience formed and enhanced the person I am today, both personally and professionally.
I live at home with my three beautiful children who teach me and enrich me every day.
I am a Psychology graduate and qualified as a counsellor from the University of Ulster in 2009.
I further have a Level 5 Certificate in Mental Health Studies, a Level 5 Diploma in CBT and am an Accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Therapy offers you a safe, confidential place to talk about your life and anything that may be confusing, painful or uncomfortable.
It allows you to talk with someone who is trained to listen attentively and to help you improve things.
Therapy is a very personal process.
Sometimes it is necessary to talk about painful feelings or difficult decisions, so you may go through a period of feeling worse than when you started.

We offer you a bespoke counselling service, tailored individually to the needs of each client.
Our approach is Integrative, and this approach is in fact our passion.
The beauty of it is that we are able to consider every individual's needs, that one shoe does not need to fit all.
Techniques that we integrate come from the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach, the Person-Centred approach, the Psychodynamic approach, Mindfulness, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)/Tapping and various creative techniques such as Sand Tray and Art.

We offer a one-to-one counselling service for young people.
The approach used is an Integrative one, combining CBT, person-centred and creative techniques for the best outcome with each young person.
Depending on the age of the client, we will involve parents always at the assessment stage, and perhaps on an ongoing basis as required.
However, this is a place for a young person to come and be able to share in a confidential space, and we will always endeavour to make it this.
Young people respond especially well to CBT concepts and the idea of 'Think Good - Feel Good' is one that has long been used with young people who suffer with anxiety, panic attacks, low self-confidence, feel low or isolated or even self-harm.

In my role as supervisor, my main concern is around reducing any perceived power imbalance, and creating an atmosphere where one professional can support another in a non-judgemental atmosphere.
There are only extreme circumstances in which this role may become prescriptive, and my hope would be that an open atmosphere will reduce the chances of this ever occurring.
I am informed in my work by various models of Supervision, including firstly Page and Wosket's Cyclical Model, which I use to inform the structure of individual sessions, secondly Inskipp and Proctor's Model of Supervision which is beautiful in its simplicity and keeps me on track with the various roles I fulfil as a supervisor, and thirdly the Seven-Eyed Model developed by Hawkins and Shohet, which considers not only the supervision relationship but also the relationships we share with the clients being brought to supervision within a wider context.
