
Set in the heart of the city in a calm, reflective setting, The Abbey Practice offers both psychotherapy and counselling from experienced UKCP registered psychotherapists Laura Keyte and Jill Wootten. With the aim of offering a comprehensive therapeutic service to the community The Abbey Practice also provides access to a wealth of qualified therapists working within the practice as Abbey Associates.

There is limited on-street parking close by, but plenty of parking just a few minutes away at Manvers Street car park (opposite the BANES One Stop Shop), Broad Street car park (below the Hilton Hotel) and at Charlotte Street car park (just off of Queen Square).

I am an Accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
My original training was in NHS Nursing (RGN 1982) and Midwifery (RM 1984) which although I no longer practice has given me a broad understanding of health issues.
Since qualifying with a Masters degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Surrey University (1997) I have undertaken a number of in-depth training courses at established institutions.
These include Couple Counselling and Psychosexual Counselling, also Child and Family therapy.
