We are a registered charity, offering professional therapeutic intervention and psychosocial support. All counsellors and psychotherapists are highly qualified and experienced and work in line with standards across a range of professional bodies. We are independent in our style of working but we all share a common passion for therapy and a commitment to emotional wellbeing.
We offer a safe and welcoming space where you can speak freely and in confidence about your difficulties over a period of weekly one hour sessions. Complementary and alternative therapies typically take a holistic approach to your physical and mental health. We have an open door policy and drop in facility which means you can come to talk to someone during office hours without needing to make an appointment.
The capacity and availability of the counselling team at any given time determines the extent to which the service can be provided. An appointment can be made through a wide range of options, self-referral, drop in, doctor's referral, and through other agencies.

Paul Brady, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist is one of Ireland's most enduringly popular artists.
As a native of Strabane, I have always been interested in the progress of the town, how the people get along and how the community and services interact.
It's a complicated and challenging world we live in and Strabane has had its share, some might say more than its share, of the troubles, stresses and strains that are the unwanted by-product of its social, economic, geographical and political history.

Counselling/Psychotherapy is time set aside by you and the therapist to look at what has brought you to seek support.
This might include talking about life events (past and present), feelings, emotions, relationships, ways of thinking and patterns of behaviour.
The therapist will do their best to help you to look at your issues, and to identify the right course of action for you, either to help you resolve your difficulties or help you find ways of coping.
