In my experience, different issues bring different people to counselling at different times in their lives. Sometimes it is feeling low and vulnerable and wanting a safe and supportive place to talk. Sometimes it can be facing a serious or life-changing illness - either yours or someone else's close to you. Quite often an apparently small experience or moment tips the balance and triggers the decision to contact a counsellor.
For the past twenty-five years, I have worked with individuals, couples, families and groups in my private practice, and in senior roles within counselling organisations.

Services
I endeavour to provide a safe space in which clients can express their thoughts and feelings in an entirely confidential and non-judgemental setting.
Most sessions are one-to-one, or with a couple or family.
From time to time it can help to be in a confidential group alongside others who are in a similar situation.
This is particularly so following separation or divorce and also in bereavement.
I have set-up and facilitated many such groups.
My practice is in Mill Hill, NW7.
It is easily accessible if you live in North or North West London, Middlesex or Hertfordshire.

Cancer can pose many challenges, and being able to speak to someone not personally involved can prove very helpful.
People may well feel bombarded with medical information and choices at the same time as trying to come to terms with the diagnosis.

I have considerable experience of working with couples, helping them to understand their differences, communicate better and learn skills to help cope with the challenges of personal relationships.
My clients are from many different backgrounds and cultures.
In the event of an irretrievable breakdown of a relationship, particularly where children are involved, I can assist both parties in their separation and in their continuing parenting roles.
