I currently offer FaceTime/WhatsApp counselling sessions which are an ideal way during these difficult times to access confidential, professional and emotional support. I am a Senior Accredited BACP Counsellor with over 30 years' experience of successfully counselling individuals and couples. I have worked in private practice, for GP surgeries and many years for Relate and other organisations, both as a counsellor and supervisor.
For 14 years I worked as a student and staff counsellor at Southampton University where I held the Head of Service and Clinical Lead role. I see individuals and couples experiencing all kinds of difficulties for short term or open-ended counselling/therapy. Meeting weekly we will work together to explore, understand and find ways to enable change.
I work Monday-Friday and have early morning and evening appointments available as well as Saturday morning appointments in Sherborne. My degree in integrative counselling enables me to tailor my approach to suit each person, whether it is support for life changes, conflict, transition, loss or any other difficulty that feels hard to manage or where extra support would be useful.
