Nichola trained at the Institute of Counselling, St Margaret's Hospital, London, & with British Ethical Therapies in Liverpool and Total Conflict Management in London.
She is a member of the Institute of Counselling and the Hypnotherapy Association and qualified Crisis Counsellor, Conflict Mediator, NLP Master Practitioner & Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist.
She is an EFT trainer & has specialist EFT training in Trauma & Sexual Abuse, Weight Loss and Serious diseases and trained with several EFT masters in the UK & abroad.
There are many problems treated successfully by Hypnotherapy, NeuroLinguistic Programming (NLP) & Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT).

A little stress can improve our performance - our adrenaline is raised to make us stronger, faster & smarter.
However, too much stress & we see performance crumble - our "fight or flight" response kicks in, we become over-stressed & it shows.
If we are continuously triggering our Fight or Flight response our bodies become drained, the immune system is compromised & we suffer physical problems or we may even experience panic attacks, mental breakdown or depression.
Stress is an enormous catchall term.

Perhaps you feel you've lost your identity without a partner that was part of you for so long?
Bereavement affects us all differently & while there is a natural grieving process where we are naturally bereft & inconsolable after the loss of a loved one.
Under normal circumstances, usually with the help & support of friends & family, things do start to improve over time by themselves.
Usually, after approximately 3 months we should experience some lightening of mood & begin to feel more connected with the future.
A Phobia is an irrational fear.
I have treated clients for all sorts of phobias - the most common are Presentations, Fear of flying, Heights, Enclosed Spaces, Dogs, Birds, Spiders & Driving (usually motorways).
Claustrophia can be particularly debilitating as it tends to generalise across a number of areas - eg public transport, car travel, flying, lifts, escalators, bridges, motorways ie things you can't get off.
The feeling of being trapped is overwhelming & its not uncommon for sufferers to experience extreme physical discomfort or even panic attacks.
