Carol Gamble Counselling offers individual, couples, and group, therapy in Lancashire, in the North West of England. Counselling and Psychotherapy offers you an opportunity to take the space and time to talk about your difficulties, confusion, conflict or distress. Through exploration and clarification of these issues, you will come to understand more fully why and how these issues may leave you feeling blocked, unfulfilled, and unhappy.
You may wish to change certain aspects of your life, and come to terms with those things that cannot be changed. People come to counselling and psychotherapy for all sorts of reasons from significant life events such as relationship breakdown, bereavement, or to break free from unhealthy patterns of behaviour that are keeping them stuck. You may be clear about your reasons for coming to therapy, or maybe you just experience a general sense of dissatisfaction, anxiety or depression.
There is no right or wrong reason for starting therapy. What I have to offer you is my genuine interest in you as an individual, and my wholehearted commitment to your personal growth through an inclusive and non-judgemental approach.

I provide a place and the opportunity that allows clients to explore their issues and concerns.
This is a place where they are not judged and are always held in positive regard.
It's comfortable, it's safe, and it works.
I work with those who are experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties.
It is often the therapeutic relationship that is empowering and allows change to occur.

I have worked as a group therapy counsellor for twelve years using both Transactional Analysis and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
I ask for 24 hours' notice for any sessions you are unable to attend otherwise I will have to charge you your usual rate in full because I will be unable to fill the time I have set aside for you.
But, if it is possible, I will try to reschedule your session within the same week in which case the missed session will not be charged for.
