Derby Counselling Centre is a local, self-funded, independent charity, located close to Derby City Centre. Since the Centre was established in 1981 we have been in continuous operation, helping many people deal with a wide variety of emotional, relational and other problems. An affordable service that makes the benefits of professional counselling accessible to all & a relatively short waiting time, usually considerably less than the NHS norm.
Appointments are available from 10.00am through to 8.00pm, Tuesday to Thursday. We have no financial support from any governmental or religious organisation, so we do have to make a charge. The average cost paid by our clients for regular counselling is in the region of 15-25 (with those who can afford to do so paying more) - the private sector typically charges 40-50.
