
In Aztec, Hope and Navajo traditions, the Fifth World is the final one, where people live by their hearts and minds (rather than being ruled by one or the other in former worlds). It is a world based on love, balance and spiritual strength. We hope, in Fifth World counselling, to support your growth, in harmony with yourself and others. As an accredited counsellor, I won't judge you.
Together we will explore such issues as adjusting to change, loss of people, job or meaning or anxiety. Perhaps you need to find out who you are and what your life means? We will be working at your pace in sessions tailored to you and responsive to your developing needs. My approach is challenging as well as supportive. I can use a range of different models including gestalt, person centred and existential theories to help you better understand yourself and others.
I may also use brief solution focused therapy and CBT techniques. My aim would be to help you get to where you want to be and to make the changes you want to make.
