I am passionate about the positive impact technology can play in people's lives.
As a Trustee, I aim to support CCL to raise more funds to deliver vitally important counselling services and bring a wide range of experience from the corporate sector.
I have been involved in NFP work throughout my career, from voluntary positions to establishing my own business to help farmers in Africa save livestock using smartphone technology.
I live locally in Malton with my family.
With previous experience of working in the public, charitable and private sectors, I have volunteered much of my free time over the last 17 years in a variety of educational settings.

EMDR is an effective treatment for people who have experienced severe trauma and who may have the symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
EMDR works by allowing disturbing memories to be safely processed so that they no longer negatively impact the person's everyday life.
EMDR can also help people to build better coping mechanisms and rebuild self-confidence.
It is a NICE approved treatment which means it has been extensively researched and validated.
Currently, the service is offered to clients of the Options service who can travel to Malton [subject to Government restrictions] but we are hoping to secure new funding to be able to offer it to more clients free at the point of access in the New Year.
