
Established in 1983, we have been operating in Sevenoaks for over thirty years and provide a trusted, professional, affordable service to the whole community. Our private and peaceful premises are situated close to Sevenoaks mainline station. Sevenoaks Counselling is offering counselling both face-to-face and remotely by phone or online. Free parking and disabled access are available.

Services
Sevenoaks Counselling offers professional counselling by Christians to the whole community.
We aim to be welcoming and non-judgemental to all regardless of gender, sexual orientation, class, ethnic origin, faith or no faith.
We provide confidential professional counselling to individuals, couples and family groups; including children and teenagers.
The number of sessions is tailored to the needs of the individual; varying from short to long term counselling.
The recommended amount for a one hour session is 50 for individuals and 55 for couples and families but this is negotiable and no-one is turned away on the grounds of being unable to pay the recommended amount.

All therapists have enhanced DBS clearance and are registered on a Professional Standards Authority Accredited Register; most are also accredited or senior accredited members of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Our Child and Family Therapist has a Master's Degree in Family Therapy.
She works to a resilience model with children, parents, couples and families and is a registered member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapists (UKCP).
All therapists have enhanced DBS clearance and are registered on a Professional Standards Authority Accredited Register; most are also accredited or senior accredited members of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

We hope to resume our Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training programme in 2022.
Training will be held in the Sevenoaks area for counsellors wishing to maintain their professionsl development either run by our experienced in-house team or provided by external professionals.
The workshop will include theory which will be immediately transformed into practices and application securing the important principle of training transfer.
Examples will be drawn from the presenter's own experience as well as encouraged from the participants.

We are a charity and as such dependent on donations and grants from individuals, churches, Sevenoaks District Council and Sevenoaks Town Council to enable us to continue offering affordable counselling, regardless of means, to all who use the service.
