Bereavement Counselling is my passion and commitment. I can help you to navigate your way deeply and well through your grief after any loss and to find new purpose and hope for your life. Shamanic Healing restores our balance - our health of mind, body and spirit - following distressing, wounding life events which may have burdened us for years. I may use both of these rich healing resources to help you move from loss to hope, to move with lightness of step once more.
Bereavement is a white-knuckle ride best undertaken with a pilot who knows how to recognise and navigate the rapids of grief and loss. Shamanic Healing is an umbrella term for a variety of healing resources whose purpose is to put us back together again. Shamanic Healing embraces all facets of our lives, its aim is to restore our balance once more.
Bereavement Counselling gives us a safe, confidential space in which our grief is allowed and encouraged to unfurl itself from our heart, mind, body, spirit. It's hard work. With the wise companionship, skill and encouragement of a Bereavement Counsellor we're able to shed the burden of our grief, find healing through this, and be rewarded with renewed energy for life.

I've taken a long time to arrive at this point.
There have many twists and turns along the track.
Sometimes I've been in the desert, surviving on bread and raisins, drinking ice-clear water.
At other times I've feasted, and been plump with happiness.
My greatest challenges have come through the experience of loss of many different kinds.
While some of these losses and the sorrows they brought me have knocked me for six, utterly unseated me, or threatened to do so, other losses have felt more manageable, far less threatening and overwhelming, and I've stayed on my feet.

Grief can feel unending, like we've entered a dark tunnel which doesn't have a light at its end.
Grief can weigh us down, isolate us, make us clinically depressed and feel that we're going mad.
It can feel like a punishment, a life sentence.
Bereavement, grief: they knock us off our feet.
If you connect with any this and if you're desperate to stop feeling burdened and hopeless with your bereavement, then I'd like to invite you to join Signs of Hope: an online Bereavement Support Group starting at the end of January.

While I prefer to meet face-to-face I can provide Counselling over the 'phone or online via Skype/FaceTime.
I offer a free taster session for 30 minutes on the 'phone so that you can get a feel for how we'll work together and whether this is for you.

Shamanism is about balance and relatedness between and within all who inhabit this Planet, enabling us to live harmoniously, healthily.
Shamanic Healing restores our physical and inner balance, healing the wounds of our body, mind and spirit.
Sometimes we experience what Shamans call 'soul loss' when aspects of ourself go into hiding for safety.
This loss of self can lead to physical and/or mental illness, an imbalance which can manifest as depression, as being without purpose or having any sense of belonging to ourselves and to life in general.
