Counselling and psychotherapy offers a space to be understood by a professionally trained therapist. This is a place to explore difficult feelings and experiences in a warm, empathic and confidential atmosphere. Therapy allows us to understand, manage our problems, and find ways forward. Anyone who is experiencing life pressure or looking for a new direction in life can benefit from therapy.
Services
I have been an Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) since 2007.
I work accordingly to the BACP Code of Ethics.
I trained in Leeds Metropolitan University with a Diploma (HE) in Therapeutic Counselling.
I have worked as a therapist since 2002 in various counselling centres, for several Employee Assistance Programmes and in my private practice.
I use mainly psychodynamic approach in my work.
This means that I try to help clients understand their feelings and behavior patters by looking and making links with their previous experiences.
