
Elaine is an integrative counsellor, with training in the person centred approach and somatic trauma therapies. She has received a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling from Strathclyde University and is a member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy and works within their ethical framework. She also holds a PDA in Alcohol and Addiction Counselling and a Diploma in Training & Development.
She is also a COSCA (Counselling and Psychotherapy in Scotland) Accredited Trainer on the COSCA course that runs annually at Mind Mosaic. Elaine has completed numerous trauma courses and workshops delivered by experts from across the world to bring the very latest in somatic trauma work to Inverclyde. With a Master's degree in Counselling and psychotherapy, Gwyneth has been practicing as a therapist in both the NHS and private practice for 20 years.
