I am a Senior Accredited counsellor and psychotherapist offering short and long term counselling and psychotherapy to individuals and couples. I am located in Bisley, between Woking and Guildford in Surrey. There are many reasons why you might be considering therapy, but most probably you are (or someone you know is) struggling to cope with some kind of personal difficulty or crisis.

You may want some help, are considering asking for it, but are not sure what kind of help or how to get it. There is a limit to how much useful information about psychotherapy and counselling that can be conveyed in writing. I prefer to treat you as an individual and to be able to talk through your own particular issues and concerns.

However, taking that first step to ask for help can be the most difficult and I therefore set out on these pages some information about me and my approach, the therapy I offer and how it might help you, to help you make up your mind whether working with me might be of help to you.
Services
I see personal breakdown and crisis as events that point the way to changes that help us reach our potential.
My work focuses on building and expanding individual strengths with the aim of achieving a balance in lifestyle and relationships.
I place the greatest value on my relationship with my clients and offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space in which to explore your concerns.
I have many years training and experience in private practice.
I also offer clinical supervision of case work.
People come to counselling and psychotherapy for many different reasons.
My aim is to support you as you explore those aspects of your life and behaviour that are of concern and to understand what is important to you, with the aim of highlighting and clarifying issues that emerge and working towards resolution.
Psychotherapy looks more deeply into the underlying causes of our inability to live life as fully as we would like.
In both cases the aim is to help you identify, and change if necessary, those behaviours and modes of thinking that are contributing to your current unhappiness.
