Welcome to Cedar Counselling, we are a Counselling Charity based in Oldbury, West Midlands. Our aim is to provide affordable and accessible Counselling & Psychotherapy to individual adults, couples, children and young people. Private therapy costs are out of reach for some, statutory services are offering limited sessions with extensive waiting lists.
This makes our service unique; bridging the gap between private costs and the limitations of statutory services. We work hard to ensure that 90% of all clients start therapy within 2-4 weeks following assessment, and are entitled to on-going therapy as opposed to time limited therapy. We believe that Counselling and Psychotherapy should be available to all.
Therefore, we assess all new clients to ensure that they pay what they can afford; offering therapy sessions from as low as 15. We receive no funding and the service runs due to therapists offering their time on a voluntary basis and other therapists offering their time at a reduced rate.
